Halloween

The boys before they headed off to school.  Graham was an Oregon Ducks fan in his green morph suit (not to be confused with his Utah Ute fan costume from last year) and Jonah was a skeleton pirate.

We were late to the parade because we decided to walk instead of dealing with the parking.  I was all frazzled because I knew there would be nowhere to sit or stand getting there that late and I didn't want the boys to think we weren't there.  When we did get there the parade had already started and I happened to peak in the window of the door leading to the 1st grade hall and a sweet kindergarten teacher opened it for me and I was able stand and watch the parade and not long after Jonah's class came by and we got to wave and get a picture.  When the kids stopped coming through the 1st grade hall we headed out to Jonah's classroom in the satellite.  As luck would have it we could watch the rest of the parade from there and got to see Graham and his class.

We borrowed a ninja, or inja as Beck would say, costume for Beck.  The only picture I got of him in it is below.  You just see him from behind but he has a sweet ponytail.

After the parade we headed home and had a costume change for Beck since he had an accident in the "inja" one.  This time he was a ghost buster with a black leftover "inja" eye mask and nappy hair from his previous ponytail.  Beck and I got to help at Jo's class party.

My little Lucy Love was a ghost for Halloween.
It went perfect with Beck's ghost buster costume.  Until he decided he wanted to wear the Buzz Lightyear costume we got from a neighbor.

So here we all are.  Jason and I borrowed sock monkey costumes from my parents and you can see Beck in his 3rd costume of the day.

Pam and Richard did a little trick-or-treating with us and the weather was lovely.  Lucy rode in the jogging stroller.  This picture cracks me up.
(Note Beck's cowboy boots.  Nice touch to Buzz don't ya think.)

When it got chilly Lucy put on her hat and she looked like the girl on Despicable Me.  One neighbor was giving out hot cider and it was yum...but a few houses later I was in desperate need of a potty break.  Thank goodness for nice neighbors who helped me out!  We ended our evening on the loop with hotdogs, hot chocolate, and watching Halloween shows projected onto the neighbors garage door.

It was a Happy Halloween!
