The Poinsettia

So I went to get online the other day and noticed the site Jason had been looking at earlier.  It was on poinsettias.  Why poinsettias you might ask yourself.  Well, someone gave us one for Christmas 2 years ago.  Jason decided to keep it alive after Christmas.  And he did, clear until the next Christmas.  He spent that whole year pruning it and caring for it.  When it gets close to Christmas it has to have a box put over it at night and I guess that's how you get the leaves to go from green to red.  Anyway, he has kept that poinsettia alive another year and as Christmas approaches he was looking up info online about when to start putting the box over it at night.  This year he didn't prune it and just let it go and it almost looks like a bush now.  I love Jason and his green thumb :).
