This summer we decided to get a pass to the outdoor pool. We went A TON and the kids loved it (so did I). We went with Brooklyn and Cade on the 4th of July. Beck's favorite was the blue slide. Jonah's first time off the diving board was off the high dive! He did awesome and the pool was small enough and enclosed enough that he could wander and slide or jump and I didn't have to worry about losing him. Graham was happy as long as he had his snorkel mask, diving torpedoes, and a friend.
We got to have a BBQ at Grandpa Richard's and Grandma Pam's that evening. Aunt Sue and Uncle Randy were there too along with cousin Lacee, Robby, Lincoln, and their new baby boy.
The kids did their "pops". Of course they threw them at each other and Graham had to try and sit on one. Then it was off to the fireworks at PG Jr. High. There was plenty of room and the kids played till it got dark and then we pulled out the glow sticks.
We are always so close to where they light off the fireworks that we have to lay down to see them. The wind was headed right for us so we got a lot of firework debri in our eyes. Beck wasn't such a fan of the fireworks but managed to make it through them.
