Heber Valley Camp

At the end of our families 2 week stay we headed up to the Heber Valley Camp for a night.  Things weren't looking good as we drove up in pouring rain.  It was chilly and we hadn't all packed enough warm clothes.  Thankfully after we got all our gear put away the rain stopped (until bedtime).

The camp has a fridge and sink.  All things that make cooking so much easier outdoors!  Jason made us some dutch oven chicken and dumplings and potatoes for dinner.

Of course we had smore's that night.  Even though we couldn't have a fire we still had coals from our dutch oven to cook our mallows.

The kids found this amphitheater and set to work on a little production that they later performed for us.

It included a lot of cartwheels and high fives to the song "Pay phone" that was playing from one of our phones and ended with all their pants pulled up funny.

Saturday morning we ended up skipping our pancake breakfast (which later became our pancake lunch) and headed out to one of the courses.  The first game was a blindfolded tag game with a water noodle.
I'm loving the defensive pose Richard, Brian, and Jason have struck.
Beck wanted in on the fun too.
Next we played a game where you had to get everyone from one spot to another only using these little rope swings.  The kids did good and it got pretty entertaining when the adults had their turn.

Last but certainly not least was the BIG swing.  Everyone got all geared up and took a ride.  Jonah just wanted a half ride but Graham and Jason went all the way!

Jonah's shoe fell off at the end of his ride so the missionary carried him back to the bench.

Grandma Pam

Grandpa Richard

And last but not least a bunch of pictures that I think Graham took of Beck.  Cute Beck.

Those pictures Graham took of Beck are actually really good! They look great! This looks like a fun time all around!
