Life's little miracles

This picture is from Jonah's sealing. I'm standing with my friends Anna on the left and Erin on the right. I feel so blessed to have two amazing friends who I grew up with, went to college with, and now have play dates for our kids with. We have all had our different trials but I just wanted to mention Anna's most recent because it is one of life's little miracles. On Dec. 31, 2007 Anna gave birth to two beautiful babies. They came into the world healthy and happy and all was well. About a week later Anna started having horrible headaches. To make a long story short, she had a brain hemmorhage and was having brain surgery before I even knew she didn't feel well. It has been a long hard road but it has also been an amazing miracle.

Anna is now home with her twins (plus her 5yr. old boy and 2yr old girl). She is doing great and has been so optimistic with the hardest of trials. She is even excited about the new cute short haircuts she can try out (they had to shave her whole head for the brain surgery). Anyway, I wanted to post this as a reminder to myself to be thankful for all that I have and to always be looking for life's little (or in this case BIG) miracles!

Her hair cut is super cute! I couldn't imagine having one week old twins and having that kind of a trial. She and her husband/family must be amazing people to handle that kind of a trial, knowing that Heavenly Father doesn't give us anything that we can't overcome, I have to remind myself of that lots. She's a cutie and so are her babies. I love the red heads!

Wow--what a story!!! How amazing to see her spirit through all of this. Thanks for sharing it. And after reading about your FHE, it helps me to know that maybe something out of our crazy household FHE's might be going somewhere :)
