Burritos!

We love going to La Puente or La Frontera and getting smothered burritos with cheese. They are way cheap and fill us up. We go there anytime we are in Sandy or SLC since there aren't any closer than that.
Well, tonight Jason went to the Priesthood session of Conference with his Dad at the Conference Center. We dropped him off at the Sandy Trax station and decided to get dinner on the way home. I was thinking along the lines of a quick drive thru but Graham had bigger plans. Since we were all the way in Sandy he wanted to stop and get a burrito. I gave in and had to laugh because I wasn't planning on going OUT anywhere so I didn't have any makeup on, I was wearing my scroungey clothes, and my shoes didn't even match my clothes. Then there was Jonah who didn't have any shoes on at all. We went anyway and I should have seen it coming but of course Graham had to go to the bathroom and so we all had to go in together. Then Graham had already eaten a string cheese and bag of animal crackers in the car and had downed his rootbeer before his food even came and so of course he tells me he's too full to eat his burrito. Needless to say Jason will be more than happy to have Graham's leftovers tomorrow. We were home from dinner by 5ish so by 8 we were hungry again. We broke out the cookie dough and popcorn. I'll work on eating more veggies tomorrow :).

You make me laugh! You're a good Mom to brave the burrito restaurant with 2 little ones by yourself! (and without matching shoes!!) :) Sounds way yummy...gonna have to try it!

I'm jealous that Graham likes Mexican food, smothered burritos are my favorite. I love it but my family.. not so much. It sounds like a good mom and boys night out!

La Frontera is the place Damon took me the first time I came to visit him up here. Veggies Shmeggies!!

Of course Graham wouldn't be hungry by the time the food came - isn't that the way it always seems to work out?! You own scroungy clothes? And you don't really need makeup anyway so I bet you looked fabulous.

Kristin - That is so funny I have the same chairs that I want to paint red. I can't get the motivation. Maybe we should do it together!
