Every girl should be able to start her birthday off with a marshmallow (and bedhead).
Then it's on to the #2 pancake and presents!
Lucy loved her new kitty and baby doll. We were all entertained by her excitement. After church we had family over for some ice cream and brownies. We tried to make brownie cups but they were a big flop so it turned into banana splits with brownie bites.

At one years old Lucy didn't have a lot of words, hardly any. When I took her to her 2 year visit the Dr. commented on how many words she had and how well she understood things. She can keep up with her brothers. She's even made them cry on occasion. She likes to play with her dolls and kitchen and legos. She still sleeps with a bottle and binky. We're working on that one. She naps once a day around 12:30 and at night we have a long ritual or reading stories, singing songs, and rubbing tootsies. She has never wanted anything to do with nursery until I was called as a nursery leader. Now she LOVES it! We are so thankful for our little Lucy. It's such a blessing to have a little girl around the house to soften things up. Her brothers love her and all take such good care of her. We are so blessed.
