On Dec. 23 we headed to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square and stay in a hotel. When Lucy saw her swimsuit was getting packed she got so excited that she had to put it on right then. With her sparkle boots of course.
We took Trax downtown. Beck loves a good train ride. We ate in the Food Court at City Creek with the Downeys and Felixs were there too. After a dinner of pizza and mexican food we headed over to Temple Square.
On the way back to Trax we walked past the candy windows at Maceys. Once back to the hotel we did ourselves some swimming!
We started our Christmas Eve with a yummy hotel breakfast (it really was yummy). Then we went ice skating at the Gallivan Center. Lucy just watched and Grandpa and Grandma came too. The boys did really good. Beck never fell but that was probably because he was always holding onto someone.
We got to watch the zamboni clean the ice. Beck high fived the driver.
We had my side of the family over for Christmas Eve dinner and some Minute to win it games.
Then came the Christmas jammies. Jason's Batman ones were the best.
Beck sprinkled some Reindeer food out front for us and we read the Christmas story and watched the crystal nativity that Rhonda gave us. The boys all slept under the stairs together and I'm pretty sure I heard them sneak up to check a few times if Santa had come.
