The little ones didn't wake up till after 7. They were all happy with what Santa brought them. We had fun going through our stockings and the Gma and Gpa came over to open presents with us.
We had a yummy breakfast of eggs & sausage & hot cocoa and the best part was the almond ring from the fancy bakery. In true Christmas morning fashion we were rushed to get to the next family event. We are so blessed to have family around to spend Christmas with. Jenny and her family and Darren and Niki were in town. We got to open presents and have some lunch at Gpa Jerry and Gma Sandy's.
Once back home we put legos together and napped and got ready for dinner with Gma Pam and Gpa Richard. Ham, funeral potatoes, rolls, and pie YUM! It was a great Christmas. We had drawn names during a FHE and instead of giving that person a gift we decided to do service for that person, secretly, for the month. It was fun watching everyone do nice things for each other. I saw Jason sit down in the middle of the closet to read Lucy a book because she had brought it to him. Jonah helped me get Lucy ready for bed and did lots of little things to help me out. Beck had Graham and so I helped him fold and put away Graham's clothes. I had Jason and so I tried to make sure his work clothes were ironed. There was lots of service and thinking of others and it felt like a more Christ centered Christmas.
