I went with some friends for a last girls night (not really the last because we've gone 2x since we moved). Chips & salsa and a brownie with ice cream.
We moved the boys beds out of their room back in August when we listed our house. They slept on air mattresses for the next month and this is how it looked in the mornings.
We cleaned out under the stairs and put it all in the family room. You can see some of the mess in this picture behind Lucy.
We usually didn't let the boys slide down the stairs but they needed something to do once all their toys were packed so we let them go down. At least they put pillows down to save the walls.
We took one last picture of Graham in front of his baptism tree. Maybe we'll sneak over next year and take his picture by it again.
Richard picked the boys up from school while we were doing crazy house stuff and hooked them up with some serious ice cream cones from Maceys. The actual closing went great. The rate worked out great and with the great deal we got on insurance we were feeling pretty good about things. The best part was that my Dad was our realtor and held our hand through the whole thing. He was a lifesaver!
Once we had closed we had the key to our new house but couldn't move things inside because we needed to wait over night for the finish on the floor to dry. We did take over everything from our shed and put it on our garage.
