This month Lucy started to sit in her high chair at the table. She tried the little puff treats and loved them and it didn't take her long to figure out how to feed them to herself along with Cheerios. At the beginning of August we noticed the first tooth coming in. It was her bottom left and 2 1/2 weeks later her bottom right tooth started to appear. She had her first taste of sherbet in hopes of easing the pain of her sore gums. Lucy will drink juice mixes with water out of a bottle so we thought we'd try a little formula in there too. She would not even touch it. Lucy learned to army crawl/scoot this month. She is super fast and moves all over the house. The neighbor girls were over a lot this month to play with Lucy. They keep her entertained. For a while she was taking 3 naps a day with the afternoon nap being the longest. Lucy learned to clap her hands and loves it. She gets so proud of herself and then claps some more. One day I heard her in her crib after a nap yelling, "Ma ma, ma ma". Ah, loved that! We did have to start leaving the railing up on her crib since she has discovered how to pull herself up.
