Lucy 9 Months

Lucy has become more efficient and instead of army crawling she flat out crawls and she's quite fast!  I've even caught her doing the Mogli (from Jungle Book) crawl.  Lucy pulls herself up on EVERYTHING!  She loves standing up.  

She has been eating so many foods.  As for baby food she still won't eat carrots or anything green.  She likes yogurt, string cheese, ice cream, pb sandwiches, mac and cheese and oranges to name a few.  She naps 2 to 3 times a day and if I feed her before I go to bed then she will sleep through the night but if the last time she eats is at 8 or 9 then she wakes up during the night.  We had to put a clock in her room that makes ocean noises because she was always getting woken up from her naps by her rowdy brothers.  

When we hear her grunt we know she wants our attention.  She often stops crying immediately when we pick her up or starts when we set her down.  She crawls across the room to get to us and then waits for us to pick her up.  If we don't and we walk away then she starts to cry.  She is super social and loves to be held and to have her brothers play with her.  One day I set her down in the family room while I put a load of laundry in and when I came back out she was up in the kitchen.  I guess that means she can climb stairs now.  We wondered if we should put a gate up but she has proven to be a very proficient stair climber so we keep an eye on her and let her climb till her hearts content.  

At the end of the month I noticed a new tooth coming in on top.  Oh that it were her top middle tooth but no, it's a canine!  I figured we'd just call her snaggle tooth but then a few days later I noticed the canine on the other side coming in.  Lovely.  I guess she'll be dracula for Halloween!
