Bear Lake

Jason had work in Logan and we had originally planned for us all to go with him and then camp in Logan canyon.  It ended up that Pam and Richard were headed to Bear Lake that weekend so instead we stayed there with them.

We went on a walk in the evening and Jonah who usually complains about walking had a sudden burst of energy and sprinted up a hill, only to crash at the top and get a bloody toe.  Grandpa came to the rescue and Grandma had a tissue for his toe.

Friday Jason and I drove down to Logan so Jason could work and I could do some school shopping for the boys.  Beck came with us and Pam and Richard took the big boys to the lake.  While in Logan we made a call to Beck's ENT because the night before he was breathing weird in his sleep.  I had him lay in bed with me and almost had a heart attack when he stopped breathing for almost 10 seconds!  I guess I should back up and explain that after Yellowstone we took Beck to the pediatrician for his tonsil and he referred us an ENT.  We saw the physicians assistant and he took one look at the big old tonsil and went and got the ENT.  Since it was only one tonsil that was HUGE they worried that it might be lymphoma but there were no other signs.  They couldn't get him in for surgery until Sept. (over a month away).  They said his breathing would probably get worse at night, thus the new symptom of sleep apnea.  When we called the nurse said it was normal and not to worry.  Right.
On Saturday we all got to go to the beach together.

Graham made this sandcastle chair and Beck was the first to sit in it.  And squish it.  We needed to get back for Sunday so after a fun day in the sun, sand, and water we packed up, cleaned up, and headed home.  Of course we stopped for some Aggie Ice Cream on our way!

Did he end up getting is tonsils out? Sleep apnea is why Landen had is taken out. It is panic inducing when they stop breathing like that.
