Idaho Falls

Our trip to Yellowstone started with a stop in Idaho Falls.  We had eaten at Big Jud's when Jonah was a few days old and decided to go again.

That burger is REALLY big and super YUMMY!

We cut it into pie piece wedges and started eating.

Surprisingly we easily finished off the whole thing no problem and even had room for ice cream at Reed's Dairy.
We took a walk around the falls.

We lived in Idaho Falls for a year and a half.  I taught 2nd grade and special ed at a little school in the potato fields while Jason attended ISU to get his masters.  Graham was born in Idaho Falls and as coincidence would have it so was Jonah.  We took a little trip down memory lane while we were there.

Of course since we were staying at a hotel we had to go swimming.  We started having chicken fights and it ended up in this 3 person totem pole.

I was sure to enjoy my comfy bed that night since I knew I was sleeping in a tent for the next 3!  Once we got all packed up in the morning and were all snug in the car Jonah thanked us for a fun vacation.  That funny kid thought we were done and heading home and yet he was so grateful for the one night.  He was pretty excited when he realized he still had 4 days left.
