Mr. Snow's Cabin

The last 6 years or so we have gone almost every summer to my dad's friend's cabin.  Fondly known as Mr. Snow's cabin in Oakley.  We always start our trip off by stopping in Heber to go to the Dairy Keen otherwise known as "the train place".
Grandpa planned ahead and brought up a bunch of new games for the kids.  One was beanbags and here is a pic of Myles almost getting hit with a beanbag and a quick save by Aidan's hand.
The boys favorite thing to do there is ride the 4 wheelers.  Beck would always ask for a helmet so he could go to.  Jonah even fell asleep during one ride.
We went on a lot of walks.  I would go with my Dad in the morning and then again at night.  Jason took Graham and Jonah on a big long far steep walk.  If any of you know Jonah you know he doesn't even like to walk home from church so I was surprised that Jason got him to go.  He made it all the way to the top and this is their picture to prove it.
Even though we've been to the cabin all these years we never realized there was a reservoir close by.  So we decided to take an afternoon and go check out the Smith and Morehouse reservoir.

Dad cooked up our burgers and dogs for our BBQ
One evening we went on a family 4 wheeler ride

At the end of our trip when we were just finishing up cleaning Grandpa started the quiet game.  We tried to trick them all into talking but they were too smart for us.
When it was over Grandpa had to pay up.  Literally, he gives them all a few dollars.

The cabin is for sale this year so this may have been our last year.  It was sure fun to snack, read books, watch movies, take naps, go on walks, snack, hear Dad's stories, play games, and snack.  Of course we hit the outlets in Park City on our way home and we even stopped at our burrito place.
