Ah, Day 5.

Once we checked out of the hotel we decided to take a little drive to LA to go to a tie shop Jason had been to before. Oh, it was an adventure. Parking was the first problem. We ended up paying $5 to park on some building rooftop. The next problem was finding the tie shop. We were in the textile district and it was a pretty iffy part of town and I was getting a little nervous walking around with 3 little kids. This picture is Jason using his ipod GPS to try and find where we are going.

Finally we found it and it was tie heaven. We did ourselves a little tie Christmas shopping.

We made our purchases and then walked back to our car...except for we couldn't remember where we parked our car! We panicked for a minute but soon found where we left it. They cram all the cars they can onto the roof of the building and our car was one car away from being sandwiched in for the day. We stopped in St. George on the way home and got a burrito (cuz now they have our favorite burrito place there) and we got to visit with Mikey too. We didn't make it home till almost midnight and had to wait till the morning to get Beckham who we dearly missed. All in all it was a great trip!
