It was decided that we would have Thanksgiving dinner with Jason's side of the family at our house this year and this is how I felt.
But Jason willingly took over the whole turkey situation leaving me feeling much better about hosting.
This is Jason's good friend Mr. Turkey. They got to know each other REALLY well when Jason couldn't find the giblets and had to do some serious searching.
Dr. J doing the stuffing stitches.
Graham took his hosting job serious and put up signs so the kids would know where to go and to not take his toys. He even made a special "time out" chair and sign. Funny thing is he was the only one who needed a time out that day.
Graham's pilgrim hat from school was our center piece. We ate on paper plates with real cloth napkins per Jason's request.
We had the kids set up in the toy room. Graham decorated the kiddie table by putting out markers and then having a paper at each seat that said to write your name and then draw a picture of yourself.
Pam and Richard, Tiff and Brian, and the kids Quincee, Caitlin, and Aaron were our guests.
Richard made the gravy (thank goodness)!
After we watched a movie and some of us (you know who didn't participate) played a game (thanks Anna). Then we made a turkey out of a bag of microwave popcorn and Graham and Quincee got to carve it and then dig in.
In retrospect giving Graham a real knife wasn't my best idea.
And this is how we felt after it was all over.

What a great Thanksgiving. The food looks so good! I mean, SO GOOD!
What good hosts you and Jason are. I am impressed with how involved Graham got. His time-out chair is classic. What a kid!! I'm glad you guys ended up playing the game; well at least some of you :) xoxo
I could go for some thanksgiving dinner right about now. Thanks for letting us come and play. We loved it.
Your so funny Krisitn. Thanks for the smile.
Looks like so much fun! That picture of Jason and the turkey is hilarious! Have a great Christmas and hopefully we will see you sometime after!
Graham is so dang funny. I love that kid! You guys are awesome for doing Thanksgiving at your house. We did our own a few years back and it was a lot of fun, but it was just us and my mom. You guys ROCK!
I love the things Graham comes up with! He is hilarious! Glad you survived it.
