Just kidding, we weren't really asleep we were just pretending. Seeing as how it was 1:00 am and both the boys were still going strong (climbing all over the car, fighting over stuff, and talking)....

The Drive-In
Back in the good old days we'd go to the Drive-In and take our couch to sit on. Then I'd inevitably fall asleep during the 2nd movie. Thinking of it brought back so much nostalgia that we decided to take the boys. We had to do some hunting but we found one on Redwood Road.
We didn't have a truck bed to lay in but the Subaru hatchback worked just fine. Even if we were a little squished. After watching Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs it was around 11 and we were all still awake so we decided to stay and watch the 2nd movie, Night at the Museum 2 (or whatever it was called). And of course around 1:00 the inevitable happened...

We decided to call it a night and I'll just have to see the rest of my museum movie when it comes to Redbox.

I loved going to drive-ins. Do you remember when Heather was babysitting us and we went to one? Wasn't there an incident with someone falling off the hood of his truck(?) and grabbing someones hair in an effort to stay on?
FUN! That is far away too! I read on one cheap chick that I think Riverton does movies too. I'm not that brave with the kids!
I love drive-ins! I used to go in high school all the time. Initially I was so surprised when I read that the boys were all still awake at 1, but then I thought about Graham and decided it wasn't that shocking :)
I am so calling you for the address!! We used to go to the drive in all the time when Camry was a baby. We loved it...then they closed it down! :( I had no idea there was one still out there! How fun!
What a fun idea! I love the drive-in!!
Fun!! You'll have to tell me where you found it at. I bet the boys loved it!
I love that ghetto theatre! The Gerbers went there the other night too, maybe you guys were there at the same time....
What a good idea! They probably don't have one even close to around here but now I am going to have to google it just to see. That would totally be Ellie too - hanging on until the bitter end.
I used to love drive-ins! I haven't been to one forever, that looks like so much fun!! I'll have to copy you and take my kids one night. Thanks for the great idea!!
