If they only didn't poop

Does this look like the face of a boy who is in need of his own kitty? If they only didn't poop (or shed or anything icky that I would be required to clean up) I'd be all over it .

Maybe a goldfish? That is my plan. You should read "Not Norman" it is my new favorite picture book all about having a goldfish for a pet. I read it to the kids in May I wonder if Graham would remember it. I don't know if I ever thanked you for showing me your blog book. I LOVED it and am so motivated by it. I can't wait to make ours :)

The poop is nothing. Living through why kitty isn't moving is a whole other story. Eric still makes fun of me for crying over Sammy, but when you have two bawling kids it is hard not to get emotional yourself. Even with that I think you get one.

Don't you hate it when you publish a comment and then notice a typo or grammar error. Anyways, the last line should say; Even with that I think you "should" get one.
This is why I don't comment.

*Give me a call, I have questions about the book.

Cats are way lower maintenance than dogs right? And can't it be an outside cat? But with any pet comes responsibility and some days I think it would be nice to have the freedom (sorry Tracker - I still love you, most of the time).

We promised Connor that when we moved here that he could have a cat, so we got a kitten, turned out he was really allergic. Our first Sun. Connor looked like we beat him with red swollen eyes. Luckily a family member took the kitten off our hands. We then got a dog, he was allergic to that also. We give up, we still have fish! We are thinking of emptying the fish tank and getting some hermit crabs, they might be even easier???

We have been babysitting some gecko's for the last month and they are sooooo easy. They poop about once a week and are so low key. He might something like that. Plus the boys friends think gecko's are so awesome.

I know exactly what you mean! My boys have asked many times for a puppy. I told them I have enough poop to clean up thank you very much. And I can always (at least for now) fall back on the "we're just renting" excuse.
