Activity Day Camp
There were 120 Activity Day girls ages 8-11. They came for 3 1/2 hours and started the day with some breakfast...
After breakfast we had 3 sisters who had lived in other countries coming to speak to us (we had a countries around the world theme). Well, I thought 3 days before I better call and make sure they were still planning on coming. It was a good thing I did because speaker #2 told me her schedule had changed and she would not be coming. No worries, I still had 3 days and so we adjusted accordingly. Then 5 min. before the speakers were to speak we find out that speaker #3 who has now become speaker #2 since #2 bailed has left a message saying she can't make it.
This is Autumn and me after we heard that lovely news. Thank goodness for speaker #1 and her willingness to speak a little longer!
Graham was sick that day and Jason was out of town so I wasn't able to stay and help clean up and such but thank goodness for Amy, Autumn, and Heather who didn't really need me there anyways :). We had a fun time and it seemed like the girls did too so it was a success.

You are a busy girl! Good thing for speaker #1! I am sure the girls had a great time. The fishing video hasn't been viewed yet but I think he likes it (he liked the gink stuff and I also gave him a few shirts - he leaves tomorrow until the 6th so the video will probably remain unopened until then).
What is your calling that has you planning activity day camps AND girls camp? Sounds like you've had an eventful summer so far.
I smiled when I saw Autumn because I taught Easton my first year. She was such a sweetheart. Tell her hi for me!
