Memorial Day

We knew we had to work on sprinklers for Memorial Day so we visited the cemetery on Sunday evening.  On the way over we talked about our grandparents.  We talked about how Grandpa Bob would always hug you so tight he'd squeeze your guts out.  Grandma Mary liked to shop at ZCMI.  Papa would always have a pie ready for us when we would come to visit.  Nana would always tell us she loved us.  Grandpa Fish won the turkey at the fair.  Grandma Fish always had lifesavers in her purse.  Grandpa Edwards was always happy to see us.  Grandma Edwards would play cards with us.  We were able to see several headstones of our loved ones and talk about them.  It was neat.  I'm we glad we went.

Lucy Love is named after her great grandma Florence Love Fish.

The sprinklers started out as a ridiculous amount of work.  We had 6 spots where we had to go under the sidewalk.  Each one took 40 min. or more.  I did 2.5 with Jason and then Richard came over and did 2.5 more.  We still have one left.  We were able to lay some of the pipe but we still have a lot left to do.  I have to keep reminding myself that we can do hard thing!
