There's a Teenager in the House

For Graham's 13th birthday he wanted to go to the skatepark.  He took some old friends and some new ones.  Beck even had something to ride there.  We had pizza and it was swell.  Until we got home that night and realized Graham had left his brand new scooter at the skatepark.  Doh!  Jason took him back to look for it and it was gone.  They decided to ask some of the kids there if they had seen it.  One had and told him where the guy lived that took it.  They were able to find the house and the scooter was on the porch.  Of course we automatically assumed the worse that he had stolen it.  After knocking on the door and talking to the guy he had already tried to call the police and see if anyone had reported the scooter missing.  He was trying to find who it belonged to.  Graham was so relieved to have it back.

 His birthday fell on Conference Sunday.  I still remember watching Conference in the hospital after I'd had him.  He wanted a cross country cake and a skateboard.  Graham is such a great kid with a great heart.  We are lucky to have him!
