Every year Tiffany invites us to Delta for the 4th and every year we aren't able to go...Until this year! Shalece and Chelsea were in town too so it was a family fest with lots of cousins! We started out the festivities by hitting a bird on the drive there. Beck named him "Steve". Oh it wasn't just any bird it was a pretty yellow bird who got mangled and mashed into our grill and Jason had to pry it out. We often reminise about Steve. The Delta parade was must on our list of things to do. There wasn't too much to look at but what they lacked in floats and bands they made up in candy. Lots and lots of CANDY!

After we went to the park for some fun bouncing in blow up toys. Then back for a super yummy BBQ at Tiff's. Then it was time for the grand finale...The DEMOLITION DERBY!!!!
It was hot and it was loud. We loved the mini cars racing the best and the fireworks. Brian won himself a nice pink big old belt buckle. It did end tragically when a judge was hit by one of the cars. We left feeling very somber.
It was a lot of fun to spend the 4th in Delta. Thanks for having us Tiff and for being such a great hostess!
This is a random picture of the boys shoveling mulch as we were getting our yard all spruced up and ready to sale the house. Such good little workers.
