January 2014

Some of the things that happened in January...

Beck continues to fall asleep in strange places.
Lucy has entered the emptying things phase.  This time it was a box of mangos.  Lucy also had a tiny sinus infection and took amoxicillin to fix it.  The only problem is that she is allergic to amoxicillin and broke out in a big old rash all over.  As luck would have it Jonah was on amoxicillin a few weeks after Lucy and he broke out in a big rash too.  Two kids allergic to amoxicillin, not to mention Jenny's Aidan and Myles are also allergic to it.

Graham earned his first and second class and earned his first two merit badges.

Graham started playing Jr. Jazz this month and also played on the ward basketball team.  At one of his games Beck fell off a folding chair and it cut the inside of his cheek.  It was pretty deep but everyone we asked said they don't do stitches inside mouths so we just watched it.  The next day it was all swollen and just looked horrible.  At Lucy's year visit I asked the Dr. about Beck.  By now his sore was healing but with a piece of white fat hanging out of it (gross I know).  He said if the fat didn't fall off on its own he would have to cut it off.  Luckily a week or so later the fat was gone.
