Thanksgiving

Jason was super excited to cook a turkey on the grill.  It turned out fabulous and yummy.  I made a pie (in a brown bag) and rolls.  Confession:  I have never been good at making rolls or maybe I've just never really tried to make rolls.  Either way I was determined to make yummy rolls.  I practiced and practiced and ended up with these rolls from the Lion House recipe.  I was pretty proud of myself.

Thanksgiving was at Grandpa Richard and Grandma Pam's with Tiff's family.  I made a mental note to be sure and take more pictures this year since I seem to forget.  I did a little better.

We always joke about who's going to throw up on vacations or at Thanksgiving because it seems like someone always does.  This year Beck, Lexi, and Lucy had all been sick a few days before.  Lucy did spit up before dinner but I don't think that counts.  The days following Thanksgiving Graham, Quincee, Caitlin, Pam, Jackson, and myself all got sick.

There are so many things to be thankful for each year.  As I sit right now and think of all I'm thankful for I think I'm thankful for the 12 hr. flu we all had.  We had a faith promoting experience with prayer, the flu, and Disneyland that I'll mention in a later post and I'm so thankful that the 12 hr. flu is as sick as any of us are.  We are truly blessed.
