I love Jason. I wanted to do something HUGE for his 40th birthday but if you know Jason you know he did NOT want a big party. His birthday this year was the Sunday after Thanksgiving and the day before we left for Disneyland. To make things ever trickier Graham had the flu the day before Jason's birthday and I got it on Jason's birthday. Needless to say we wanted to make the day special for him. We hung pictures of him all over the house and blew up 40 balloons and each balloon was filled with a memory about Jason from one of us or from his sisters and parents. He wanted to grill some salmon for his birthday and poor Jason ended up making his own birthday dinner because I was too sick to. We didn't even get around to popping the balloons until we got home from Disneyland. He didn't want a cake since we just had all that Thanksgiving pie and Jonah's birthday cake. Instead he wanted Costco ice cream which we didn't end up eating until after Disneyland. Well, if nothing else his 40th birthday was memorable. We love you Jas!

I love when you catch up with your posts:) Happy Birthday Jason! And wow - your kids are getting old. Congrats on the grill - we only made it through 1 year without one and it was rough.
