First Day of School

In true Mother of the year fashion my boys were late for their first day of school.  The morning went super smooth we just tried to squish too many things into it and then wanted to ride ripstiks/walk to school together and we just weren't fast enough.  Oh well.  It made it so I didn't have time to get all sentimental when I dropped Jonah off at Mrs. Watter's class for his first day of first grade.  I did visit him at lunch and he seemed to be doing fine.  I met the boys after school and Jonah wanted a ride home.  He told me that 6 hrs. was a long time and that he was too tired to ride his ripstik home.  Graham has Mrs. Martins this year and had a great first day.  He has really impressed me this first week with how responsible he is becoming.  It's fun to hear the boys talk about how they try to find each other in school and at recess.  My favorite was when Jonah was all ready the first day and Graham kept saying that he couldn't stop looking at him because he looked so good (in his new shoes and shirt).

The 2nd day of school we were totally on time and Lucy was still in her PJ's

Beck had his first day of neighborhood preschool after Labor Day.  It was at our house the first 2 days which was so fun minus the part where Beck went to timeout.
McCoy was sick the first day so she's not in this picture :(

Lucy joined in the fun for stories and singing
