Bear Lake

Our families are getting too big to all fit comfortably in the cabin at Bear Lake so this year we opted to get a campsite at the local KOA.  It fills up fast and we were lucky to get the last tent spot.  Um, I think it was the last one because it was RIGHT by the road.  When we got there it was raining a little so we hurried to put the tent up and then decided to head to the lake where luckily we found blue skies.

The KOA had showers so after building sandcastles and swimming we got cleaned up.  They had lots to do at the KOA like a pool, miniature golfing, play area with toys, and a bounce pillow. After Jonah and Graham got cleaned up they went to play and somehow got separated.  We couldn't find Jonah and all had to split up to go look for him.  We found him playing a round of mini golf.  Next we headed to the cabin for dinner then back to the KOA to go to bed.  The kids slept good.  Lucy was in her pack and play and only woke up once during the night.  Friday morning we had yogurt and bagels for breakfast and then the kids spent some time swimming in the pool before we went back to the lake.  We'd been going to the North Beach and this time we went to the far end of North Beach where Pam and Richard had rented a water trampoline.  It was a good little swim to get out to it and it was a lot of fun.  Aaron had his 5th birthday while we were there.  Lucy who won't eat carrots happily ate sand and after getting all cleaned up Lexi found a fun mud puddle to play in.

Friday night the boys played on the bounce pillow and were so wound up it took forever for them to fall asleep.  Lucy didn't sleep as well either, so neither did Jason and I.  In the morning the boys played some more mini golf and we packed up and headed to Logan for lunch and Aggie ice cream.  Finally we arrived home to find our fish still alive despite having forgotten to feed it while we were away.
