St. George

On June 1st Alexia Love was baptized!  

Aidan gave an awesome talk on the Holy Ghost using a stoplight and Alex asked me to give a talk on baptism.  We had some yummy banana splits after....soooo good!  Thanks Alex for setting such a good example for all of us.

After the baptism we drove to St. George.  I was super excited since it was my first vacation in 6mo.  We stopped at a diner along the way and then on Sunday we had ourselves a jello slurping contest.  Graham won but only because Jonah slurped his up his nose and had to stop.  Then Jason and I had a go at it.  I won but only because we got laughing and snot came out of my nose and Jason lost his jello appetite.  

Monday we toured Brigham Young's home.  It was neat and the boys really enjoyed it.  The best part was that later we learned Graham needed to visit a historical site to finish a merit badge and Brigham Young's house totally counted!

The boys got to go swimming at Mikey's.  For the most part we had the pool to ourselves.  Darren didn't come in his swimsuit but he got hot in his sweats (go figure it was St. George in June) and ended up jumping in the pool with the boys.  Lucy put on a swimsuit for her first time.  She didn't mind the water which wasn't surprising since she's a pretty big fan of the bathtub.  It wasn't long though before all the fun wore her out.

 

We found a super fun splash park in town and watched the kids play, well Jo and Graham.  As you can see from the picture Beck wasn't quite thrilled to be there.  Meanwhile Jason and I tried not to melt in the heat while Lucy took a nap in her carseat.

 At the end of our trip when we were cleaning up Graham cleaned the bathroom mirror and wrote, "I {heart} Mom in window cleaner...ahhhh.
