My 2nd day in the hospital was really good.  I felt good and was happy in the morning to get all my tubes and stuff out.  Jason stayed with me at night and we let Lucy sleep some in the nursery thinking that way we could get more sleep.  It didn't work out that way.  With the nurses coming in to check on me and then bringing Lucy in to eat we were constantly being woken up.  After that night we pretty much just kept her with us.

Darren and Mom came to visit and this time mom had been cleared to hold Lucy...YEA!  Anna stopped by and Aunt Patsy.  By then I was worn out and took a nap with Lucy.  Pam and Richard brought the boys again that night and Tiffany came with the girls.  It was our 14 year anniversary so that night we watched a movie and of course the last 10 min. of it the nurse came in and we missed the end.  I was starting to feel weird by the end of the day.  Apparently it was the side effects of my percocet. By morning I was so dizzy and nauseated that I slept off and on till 12.  Not wanting to feel nauseated again I avoided percocet and just used ibuprofen.  I wasn't nauseous but I was in more pain.  Finally with the help of my nurse (I had great nurses) we worked out a pain pill schedule that worked without making me sick.

Sunday Jason and I shared a lovely hospital dinner together and mom and dad came to visit.  By that night I was ready to go home.

We left the hospital Monday around 10:30.  All the boys came to take us home.  It was New Years Eve and my sweetest visiting teacher brought us the yummiest dinner.  We all watched a movie together and by midnight only Graham, Lucy, and I were awake.

It was so nice to sleep in my own bed and to know that Jason would be home for the next 2 weeks!

You are amazing on all the posts - hope the c-section recovery has gone well. She looks so tiny and snuggly - and I love the hair bow. It's awesome when the bow is bigger than their head!
