The Bonfire

While the cousins were here for Christmas break we decided to invite them all over to roast some hot dogs and marshmallows outside. We didn't have a lot of wood so Jason had a good idea and decided to use our leftover Christmas tree parts for firewood. It was an efficient way to get rid of our tree but I thought we might also end up getting rid of our house! Dead Christmas tree branches make a BIG fire and LOTS of smoke. It was quite the show for the kiddies. Not sure why I don't have any pictures of it. I must have been too worried about my house burning down.

The kids did love it. Aidan thought it was quite impressive and Alex wants to play with "The Delta Cousins" again. (I think she just wants to have girl cousins.)

I just caught up on all of your posts. Now that I don't see when you update on my blogs sidebar, I forget to peek over at your blog. It looks like you guys had a fun holiday season. You are such a cute family. Last night I was watching a tv show that was dealing with the topic of adoption so I thought of you and your adorable boys :)
