The Bucket

At preschool each child got a turn taking the bucket home. Jonah could not wait for his turn. In fact he thought it was taking too long for his turn to come. So he took matters into his own hands. I heard him one morning saying his prayers and asking that it could be his turn to take the bucket home.

And sure enough when Jonah came home that afternoon he had the bucket with him. His prayer was answered and he was THRILLED!

He got to put a few of his favorite things into the bucket. For his favorite book he picked a Skippyjon Jones book. If you haven't read one of these you need to (with a Nacho Libre accent of course) it's about a siamese cat who thinks he's a chihuahua.

For his favorite toy he picked this thing. I've never seen him play with it at home. I think it was a Happy Meal toy.

His favorite treat to share (but obviously not with Beck) was salt water taffy. Originally he wanted Sour Patch Kids but Jason and Jonah couldn't find them at the store and so ended up with the taffy.

Those are a few of Jonah's favorite things.
