We had some serious s'mores.

And made a serious mess!

Loved our headlamps until mine came up missing. Hmmmm, where did I put that? Oh yeah, it fell in the FIRE! No worries it was spared from the flames. Whew.

While we waited the kids got this squirrel to eat out of their hands. The cave entrance was FREEZING.

Beck didn't last in the backpack the whole time and the little ones were pretty chilly by the end since the tour lasted 1 1/2 hrs. and we climbed up and down 444 stairs. At the very end they turned all the lights off and it was SO dark except there was this little light. Oh, it was Graham who had turned his flashlight on. When we told him to turn it off he said, "Well I didn't know where you guys were".

Our campsite was about 100 feet away from the beach. Perfect. It would have made for better swimming conditions if the water weren't so high and there weren't so many reeds and sticks in the water. It did make for good a time playing in the sand.

When we go with family Pam always brings a sheet for us to put down first and then we put our towels on top of that so they don't get all sandy. I made sure to grab an old duvet cover to bring along. We never put our towels on it but one breezy evening it provided entertainment for a long time.

Anson and Graham found some eggs in the water. Not sure exactly what kind of eggs or how long they had been in the water. They decided it was best to put them back where they found them.

Thanks for letting us mooch Marci. We had a great time!

We did the cave last year. Collin did the whole thing by himself. Just about killed me! Way to go!
You guys have all the fun!
