Aloha

Jason travels for his job. The areas he goes to changed recently and he was assigned Hawaii. As if that weren't fun enough, while we were in St. George for Spring Break Jason surprised me and told me that he had some work to do in Hawaii over my birthday and that he was taking me with him! Wahoo!!! He had even arranged for family to watch the kids for 9 days!
Our plane had some problems and after waiting awhile they had everyone get off. An hour later they had us get back on and we took off 2 hours late. We watched 2 movies and a TV show during our 6hr. flight.

We got our sweet Volvo rental car and then our GPS took us the wrong way down a bunch of one way streets. In the end we made it to our hotel. Jason usually stays at the same hotels so he has some status with them which came in handy because we had reserved the cheapest room at the resort but got a room upgrade and free breakfast. The lobbies at most places were all open you just walked in and out, no doors.

I loved the view from our room and we spent a lot of time hanging out on the little patio.

It was pretty late by the time we got all settled in so we saved a walk on the beach for the morning.
