And the cake with the one ginormous candle (couldn't find any little ones) to celebrate Myles, Beck, and Alex's birthdays (I think those are the right birthdays).
Of course there was the hidden chocolate bunny a tradition passed down from Grandpa Fish.
I got a good chuckle (after I finished fuming) about how I decided to get the boys new Easter clothes and bought 2 different outfits cuz I couldn't decide and then that morning one child (who shall remain nameless) was complaining about his new shirt and Jason (rightfully so even though I was not happy about it at the time) took his new shirt away and told him he could wear an old shirt since he wasn't grateful for the new one. So we all headed off to church grumpy and not in our new Easter clothes that I spent hours combing stores for and of course no Easter picture in our Sunday clothes.
On a brighter note I had sharing time that day and had spent the two weeks prior studying up on the resurrection so that I would have all my facts straight. The children were so attentive and reverent during sharing time that my frustration over the mornings silly things were put into perspective.
On a side note: I returned the extra Easter outfit for each boy and the ones we kept came with a tie and one of the ties has been missing since Easter so it has never been worn to church.
Lesson learned.

I am going to have to steal those pics. So cute! I agree with you on the hard boiled eggs. We only hide the plastic ones too.
Hey, that is too bad you don't get to come to AK. This summer is supposed to be really nice. Last summer was NOT nice...really cold. But you can't beat Hawaii :) We usually go to Kona, that's where our house is. Kona is on the Big Island of Hawaii. I love it there. But Greg has also taken me on a cruise where we stop at each island and all the other islands are so great also.. Which island are you planning on going to? My friends are going to Kuaui at the end of this month, that's a great island as well :) You'll have fun not matter where you go...it's hawaii!!
