I finally talked myself into planning on actually running it. As I've said before I am not a runner. I pretty much only run if I'm being chased. So, I decided to do a practice 5k on the treadmill. It was bearable since I could watch tv while I ran. The only down fall was when I moved my hand to fix something I brought it back up and I whacked it on the arm of the treadmill and it left a big old goose egg. Another reason why I don't run.
I went to help set up the day of the race and it got so hectic that I didn't even get the chance to run because I was helping with other stuff. Oh well, at least I got my treadmill 5k in.
Graham did run (I mean walk) the 1K and once it was over Jonah wanted to give it a try so I walked him a few yards from the finish line and he ran on in and got a ribbon too.
Here are some random pics of the event...

Way to be supportive. I think the treadmill 5k definitely counts.
We have an fsa 5k at the end of the month I am trying to decide if I can do. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even make it on the treadmill so I think you can totally count it...maybe I will count your run for mine since we're friends and like lots of the same things. The curtains look great.
