Outside the Temple

After we picked up the boys we headed outside to greet our family and friends who I made promise to wait for us :). It was so neat to see a group of people we love waiting for us as we left the temple.

Then I saw someone so special. The day would not have been possible if it weren't for her. She is so selfless, caring, loving, brave, and strong. It was Beckham's birth mom, Mikelle. My heart is so full of love for her. I went straight to her and we hugged and cried and hugged some more. She is so special to our family (as well as Jonah's birth mom). I was so happy to see her there with her family and sweet friend Brandon. I put Beck in her arms and let her love him while we said hello to friends and family.

Picture with Mikelle's family

When we sealed Jonah we got one picture with the group that came and then everyone left so we just set our camera on a ledge and set the timer and took our own family picture. So this time I was determined to get some pictures. Because of that it felt more like a wedding this time and that's the reason for all the pictures that follow...

Two of my friends that I grew up with I have stayed super close with. Erin (who is having her adopted twin boys sealed to them next month) and Anna (who is expecting #5...now everyone will know, hehe).

Jason's friend Marcel came with Kaija and Jackson. Marcel and Jason grew up together.

It had been a long morning for the boys, especially for the two little ones so it wasn't long before we needed to head home. I was a little sad to leave the temple grounds that day. Having the boys all in white, feeling the spirit of the sacred sealing ordinance, being able to share all of that with family and friends and the joy I felt seeing Mikelle as we went outside were all things I didn't want to end and a feeling I never want to forget!

Sorry for ditching on the pictures again. :( But I knew you would understand babysitter issues. I am glad that it was such a sweet day for your family!
