Bear Lake

We always start our trips to Bear Lake with some kind of drama. On at least one occasion someone from Tiff and Bri's family hurled. Our alternator belt busted on one trip. This time Tiff and Brian had car problems and had to abandon the van in Logan. No worries though because by night time we were BBQing and having smores!

We discovered last year using Reeses instead of Hersheys on the smores, mmmmm.

First thing the next day (which is just before lunch for all of us) we headed to the beach. Where of course it was super windy.

Brynlie was sporting Grandpa Richard's sandals.

Um, Graham are those bubbles I see behind you?

Beck fell asleep in his car seat so we rigged the tarp over him to keep the wind and sand away from him and the wind rocked him to sleep.

Ah, they are so sweet when they are ASLEEP!

One of our first family photos with Beck. Hmmm, not my favorite choice of attire for a family pic!

Jason broke out the new dutch oven and made some yummy potatoes (thanks Brian C.) and Chicken and dumplings.

It was almost Aaron and Brooklyn's birthdays so we had a cake that had everyone's name on it.

On the way home we stopped for a shake. We got rocky road this time and it was super YUMMY!

Looks like a successful trip. Bear Lake always seems to be windy, except when we get the sailboat out. Nice bubbles Graham. Thanks for keeping me busy for a few days.
