Paint

Have I mentioned that I have a hard time making decisions? Well, I do and deciding what color to paint the front room and hall up stairs was almost more than I could handle!

Thank goodness I discovered the sample size of paint that you can get at Home Depot. I ended up spending around $25 in paint samples but it definitely helped in the decision making process.

In the end we went with sandy brown (top far right) and cornbread (not pictured).

The whole painting process was a little more work than I bargained for. I'm sure I would have given up halfway through if I didn't have Melissa there helping me. She is a speed painter. She was here for 4 hours and we had it all painted WITH a second coat, the tape pulled off, and the couches moved back into place before she left. AMAZING! I owe you big time Melissa!

The best part was that Melissa came when Jason was out of town so Jason left with our house a MESS from taping and stuff and when he came home it was all painted and touched up and FABULOUS!

(These yellows look different in the pics but they are the same)

Now I'm REALLY going to get those kitchen curtains done that I've been working on since BEFORE Jonah was born!

p.s. Since I first typed this post I have painted the downstairs yellow too! I LOVE IT!

I am so jealous of how quickly you got that done! Paint makes such a huge difference, but I'm always surprised at how long it ends up taking me. I'm excited to see it.

Looks great! I avoid that type of thing because it is simply too much work! ;)
