I really thought it would be cancelled but rain or shine the 2nd grade was walking to the high school!

And rain it did. Or more like snow. It was only really a problem when it was blowing sideways into our faces and when Graham realized he had a hole in his shoe because his socks were all wet!

I didn't get to sit by Graham during the show because some naughty boy in my group wouldn't sit flat in his seat so I had to sit next to him and monitor his seat sitting. So annoying!

so when i tell jr high kids to stop acting like second graders, i am not exaggerating...
I was so confused when I got to school at 9 am that day and saw lines of students leaving. I was worried we were being evacuated. I soon remembered the field trip though and must admit that I was glad it wasn't me having to trudge through the rain and snow. The kids came back SO excited and everyone wanted to dance throughout PE. It must have been a success. Sorry about the seating arrangements though.
That is SO annoying! That bugs me too. You are a good sport for going in that weather though.
Glad I missed that one!!
Sounds like an interesting day. I am coming up Friday for Myles appointment. Hopefully I will get to see you! (and your cute kids too)
I seriously can't get over how big Graham is! You have to give him credit for being creative. I hope things are going well. Did Jason tell you I called? We spent the night at Thanksgiving Point over Spring Break and we drove around the neighborhood. Made us sad! Anyway hope you are doing great with your kids and Jason's new Job!
