It's our 3rd year of the Halloween parade and we are getting better at our timing. The first 2 years we arrived way before it started to insure a good spot and then got to sit/stand in that spot for A REALLY LONG TIME! This year we rode our bikes (to avoid the parking drama) and that was swell until it started snowing on our way home. We got to the school right at the time the parade was to start. This still got us a good standing spot (or sitting cuz I took a chair out of a classroom) but we still had to wait a half hour before the parade got to us. Then of course the only picture we get of Graham is
BLURRY.
His class had a little program with poems and songs for us after the parade. It was cute and I loved it.
We spent that Friday evening at the ward Halloween dinner and trunk-or-treat. Jonah was supposed to be an ear of corn that Sandra made. I saw a picture of Charli wearing it and wanted to borrow it for Jonah. Well, he thought Mr. Incredible was more Halloween like so I ended up wearing the corn on the cob costume.

Graham borrowed two different costumes from neighbors and ended up going with the football player. After school and before the ward party he decided to turn himself into a dead football player. I pulled out Jason's ultra slick paisley shirt so that he would feel festive too.

I was going to boycott Halloween on Saturday because of all Friday's stuff but then Jenny was in town so out we went trick-or-treating. Anson came along with us.

Jonah tragically tripped and spilled all his candy. Poor little lamb.

Aidan needed a little break.

We got to stop by Grandma Great's. So here's the cousins. Aidan was Dracula but Jen said she waited till the last minute and could only find an adult sized cape. Alex was a witch again but with a green face this time. Little Myles was Mickey Mouse. Too cute.

Happy Halloween!
