Jonah

What could make Jonah's face look like this???

These!

I used to laugh that my mom would make my high school aged brother chocolate chip cookies for breakfast (the pre made dough of course). Then Graham came along. That child does not do mornings and being on the early track at school doesn't help. So to get things moving in the morning he is promised ONE donette if he is ready by a certain time. The funny thing is our mornings have been so pleasant ever since. I think my mom was on to something.

While Jonah was taking a bath the other day he got water up his nose. When I asked him if he was ok he told me that the water just climbed up his nose.

Jonah has bad luck with old milk. Last fourth of July after we watched fireworks we put him in the car and headed home. Well, he had found his sippy with milk in the car which was now REALLY warm and he drank the whole thing. He hurled about 2 min. later. Last week he found a sippy of milk that was old (he wanders around the house and leaves them) and I guess he had sort of learned his lesson because he only took a swig of it instead of drinking the whole thing. Yet, he still threw up that night. So the other day Jonah had his little polar bear "Pulley" with him and he told me Pulley didn't feel good. I asked what was wrong and he said Pulley drank old milk. I asked if he would be ok and he told me that No, he would die.

Jonah says "Cuz I'm hungry" for everything. He'll ask if he can go lay down cuz he's hungry. Or if he can have a story cuz he's hungry. He wants me to get him his blanky cuz he's hungry.

Sometimes I forget that you have to teach kids EVERYTHING. Including eating an ice cream cone from the TOP!

This is what I found this morning. He said he just wanted oatmeal for breakfast. At least he's health conscious.

Every morning when Jonah gets up he quietly asks me using his puppy dog eyes if he can have some meelk.

When I go to kiss Jonah goodnight he always repeats everything I say. So I say, "Goodnight sweetheart", and Jonah says, "Goodnight sweetheart". I say, "Sleep good" and he says, "sleep good". I say, "I'll see you in the morning", and he says, "I'll see you in the morning".

Jonah loves his Uncle Mikey (aka Uncle Monkey). The two of them spent some time together recently in the shopping cart at Maceys.

What a cutie! I eat cookies in the morning too! But I'm a mom and I can do things like that and I don't have to have an excuse! Oh the joys of being the boss! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

This is a great post. It is so funny to hear about kids personalities. I love all of the stories and the pictures, especially the ice cream cone picture. I even showed Gustavo.
