Transplant-Foam-Diving-Soccer

Our 24th started off with a little plant surgery. The tall grasses that I love so much have grown so big that they are blocking the sprinkler and our grass is dying. So we had to do a little transplanting.

and replace them with these little guys.

And these guys are just silly.

We heard about the free foam fun at the park and so we headed over there. It was foamy and fun but I kept losing Jonah in the crowd and it made me nervous so we didn't stay too long.

After naps we went to the Mayan for dinner. Really I just wanted an excuse to park there so we were close to the stadium for the soccer game. The boys LOVED watching the diving but Jason and I DID NOT love our food.

Since Jonah is only 2 he didn't need a ticket for the soccer game. That also meant that he didn't get his own seat. He only threw one huge fit and it happened right as something good was happening in the game so everyone was yelling and you couldn't even hear his fit.

We are cheap so we got the tickets for the "Colonel's Corner". I did get my second of fame on the jumbo tron which would have been fabulous if I would have noticed. During the second half Real made a goal and everyone was going crazy and this guy in front of us turned around and had his hands up above his head like he was waiting for me to give him ten. I sat there for a minute because I didn't know this guy and thought maybe he was confused but he just kept waiting. I realized that he probably wouldn't turn around until I gave him ten so I quickly tened(?) him. Then every goal after that he and his buddy would turn around and five Graham and me. Real won and after they had fireworks (which was really my motivation for going in the first place).

Happy Pioneer Day!

fun! I think next time one of the boys throws a huge fit I'll try yelling and screaming louder than him...do you think that will work?!:)

I'm really late reading this post, but we were at that Real game too! Trev and I went with some friends who had tickets for one of the suites. Air conditioning and free food- totally the way to go!
