It was a birthday fest this week. Mom's was Monday (as well as her dog Annie's). Chelsea's was Wednesday. Mine was Saturday and Richard's was Sunday. Whew. We ate a lot of cake this week.
Only one more soccer game left this season.
Happy Happy Birthday Kristin Dear!!!

Jason and I have serious issues when it comes to deciding little things. Like where to eat and what movie to see for my birthday date. Our conversation went something like this...
Jason: Where do you want to go?
Kristin: I don't know where do you want to go?
Jason: No way it's your birthday you get to decide.
Kristin: Well then as my birthday present I want you to decide.
Jason: Nope, you get to choose.
Kristin: Fine, I'll pick four places to eat and then you tell me your top 2 of the 4 and then I'll pick from the 2.
This narrowing down of the choices works well for us and we ended up at Zupas. We'd never been there before and we thought it was FABULOUS!

Deciding the movie was hard too but it came down to which one started when we were done eating. So Star Trek won. We were apprehensive seeing as how we are NOT trekkies (or whatever you call them) but it was surprisingly good. Even though 10 min. into the movie a lady decided that she needed to sit RIGHT next to me in the chair that was holding all my stuff. Thank goodness for the arm rest that lifts up so that I could scoot real close to Jas :).

And what would a birthday be without a shout out to Dad and Mom who made it all possible!

Poor Jonah had a rough week. He didn't seem himself on Wed. and Thurs. after a quick trip to Wal-Mart he hurled in the car (I was just glad it wasn't in Wal-Mart). He was down for the next few days missing everyones birthday festivities. Friday night was especially bad. He had a fever of 103 and was miserable. We had given him medicine and didn't know what else to do to help him feel better. Then Jason asked me if he should give him a blessing. Of course, why didn't I think of that. After he had finished Jason laid on the floor and watched a movie with Jonah until he fell asleep. By Saturday the fever was gone, thank goodness for the Priesthood and a worthy husband! The runny nose and cough are still here. Poor little lamb, is it Swine flu, West Nile, or what?!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm glad you liked Zupas because it is my favorite, but sadly Gustavo hates it. I hope poor Jonah is all the way better soon. It is no fun having sick kids. I'm sure you'll do great without Jason this week. I was so surprised at how well it went last week; it was lots of fun.
No fun for Jonah being sick! Sounds like your bday was a success. That is about how our decisions go when it comes to eating out but I have learned that when it comes down to it I really do have a preference I just want Brian to guess the same place I am wanting to go. I will call you this week so we can figure out our weekend plans.
Happy birthday my cute friend! Sounds like you had a nice time. I'm so sorry that poor little Jonah is sicky, poor little man. I hope he feels all better soon.
Happy late Birthday!!! That sucks Jonah is sick! We have a few of those over here to. Well sounds like you had a great time!
