Christmas Vacation part 1 (yep that means there will be more parts so you can consider that an early Christmas present :)

Our long awaited vacation started on a Saturday.  We were planning on taking the red car (better on gas) so we made sure to get the tires rotated before we left.  Well after they were rotated the car was so noisy that we only made it to Provo before we decided we couldn't listen to that loud noise for 9.5 hours.  We turned around, moved all our stuff to the other car, and then left again.

We stopped in St. George and stayed Saturday and Sunday night.  I wasn't feeling so fabulous on Saturday and ended up going to an insta care on Sunday with another sinus infection.  The best part was the antibiotic they gave me had all kinds of fun side effects like nausea which is awesome when you are on your way to Disneyland.

That afternoon we finally told Graham where we were really going.  We had wrapped up a Mickey Mouse shirt (thanks Marci) and a Disneyland autograph book (thanks Mandi) for him to open.  Well, he opened them and he didn't figure it out so we just told him.  He didn't believe us at first but then he got super excited.

Our drive to CA went smoothly since we were using Jason's new birthday GPS.  Since he had to spend his whole birthday driving we decided to go that night to Medieval Times and Tournament.  We ate dinner without utensils, wore crowns on our head, and watched a jousting tournament and show.  It was fun but the best part was watching Jason eat half a chicken with his bare hands while wearing a crown and cheering for the yellow knight (who did not win btw).
Graham and me in the castle's courtyard

I thought they had the nicest/festive bathrooms so I took a picture of them for you to see.

The losing yellow knight.

I just got my internet at the new house and it looks like you have been busy!! I saw Graham at school today and he had a sneeky smile on his face as he said hello, what a cutie! Well we are going to miss you guys! I hope that we can plan out some play dates though, the boys get along so great!!! We moved really fast though, once they accepted the offer, it was 2 weeks and we were closed and moving. Sorry I didn't get a hold of you sooner! After christmas I wanted to have a girls lunch date at my house and let the kids paly =) Are you in?
