10 years! (Nope, that's not a typo)

Our official beginning was Dec. 29, 1998 but we met in 1995 when I was fresh from high school and Jason was fresh off his mission (ok he'd been home for 8 mo. but whatever).  It was love at first sight.  Just kidding, I mean I thought he was HOT and super HILARIOUS but these things take time, like 3 1/2 years.  So let's take a trip down memory lane and remember how we got to where we are...
1995-We first meet in an intro to college life class
1996-After being friends for the school year we start "dating" in the summer (finally).  I knew things had changed when we were sitting on the bleachers watching a demolition derby and our knees bumped and neither one of us pulled our knee away (I get butterflies just thinking about it ;)
1997-We break up (every good story has a break up right?).  We stayed friends and even went snow shoeing on Valentines together.
1998-We get back together and spend our summer nights watching X-files on a couch in Jason's backyard.  (This picture is from the drive-in movie but you get the idea).
Nov.1, 1998-We get engaged.  I guess it was supposed to happen on Halloween.  We were walking home from a Halloween party and Jason was trying to secretly have us walk by a certain spot so he could pop the question but I was cold and just wanted to hurry and stop by my apt. and get a jacket.  This spoiled his plans and so the date is Nov. 1 instead of Oct. 31.
2000-We both had graduated from USU and we moved to Idaho Falls.  Where I taught 2nd grade and Special Education at a little school in the potato fields.

2001-Graham makes his grand entrance into the world.

2002-Jason graduated from ISU, we move back to Utah so Jason can do his internship.
2003-The three of us had the flu during Christmas (LAME).
2004-Moved to our new house, went to Martin's Cove.
2005-Graham smeared his poop all over his room.
2006-Jonah was born (See Dec. 13th post for all the details)
2007-Jason graduated from the U of U

2008-Disneyland
Well that's it in a nutshell.  I'm looking forward to the next ten years!

Congrats!! Do you remember a long time ago when we met up to watch the movie at Temple Square?? It's so sad, I don't remember which one it was. It was before 1997...I think. I just remember we had a nice chat about life and stuff... was it really that long ago?!

Happy Anniversary! I was trying to figure out where we met you two in there-I guess it was after you were back together but before you go married.

Can't believe you left out the part about being the best sitters ever for a pack of kids, not to mention cleaning our car the Ginger was born. The kids love that story and Julien still remembers it.
