Twice this month we have been able to meet with Jonah's birth mom. She lives in Idaho but has been down here for work. They were both such neat experiences and we love her so much and are so thankful for her. I was happy to get some more pics of her with Jonah and to find out more details about his situation. For example, you may have noticed Jonah is kind of dark/tan. Lots of people have asked us if he is caucasian and he is but we did find out that his birth mom's grandpa was half Native American (his dad) and half Hispanic (his mom), thus Jonah's darker skin. We got to learn more about Jonah's delivery too. He came out by c-section and had the cord wrapped around his neck 3 times. He wasn't breathing at first. Anyway, all so fascinating to us!!
Ok, this is just random but I was up in Graham's room and noticed he had hung a picture on the back of his door. I laughed when I looked closer and saw that it was a picture of the Savior hung up by a band aid.

I guess if no one knew Jonah was adopted you could always tell them he has an Asian aunt, or is she mexican? I can't keep it straight!!=)

that is so cool about Jonah's mom! and the band aid, that is just so funny.
Hey, band aids are sticky too and work just as well! Good luck with the adoption process again!
Sending a boatload of good adoption vibes your way. And I laughed out loud at the bandaided picture. What a cute kid.
