I had a new adventure this summer... Activity Day Camp at Camp Jeremiah Johnson. This is Autumn, Amy and me just getting ready for the fun to begin. I was under the impression that activity day girls are just like girl's camp girls. Not so much. When we first got there and they wanted us to hoop and yell I got all excited and was wooing and yelling and then I realized that I was about the only one! Oh well. Later my cute neighbor Kaysie told her mom that I was "loud".
This is Kaysie and me in front of the bathrooms. We made a bet and we both held it all 7 hrs. Amazing, I know.
Next Jason had to go out of town for work. He hardly ever has to go so I'm a big baby when he does. On the bright side we did get to eat for dinner the stuff that Jason doesn't like. So we had German pancakes once for dinner and then made another batch for breakfast (note the paper plate he's eating on, we were going all out!)
Jason made it home in time for the Saturday Round Up parade. Jonah was even big enough to have some fun at the park after. In fact, he had so much fun that he threw a horrible fit when I tried to get him off of these swings.
Graham has become so brave in the water that he wanted to try out the dunk tank. He did good. He got a little excited and almost fell off before they actually knocked him down. (I have no idea why this is all underlined and blue? I'm not very computer literate)
Jonah couldn't take anymore fun and crashed on the way home with his raisins and no pants. Not bad for a full days work.
We had a GREAT 4th of July. We took Graham to see Kung Fu Panda. It was way funny. We went and watched fireworks at the PG Jr. High. There was tons of room and we ended up sitting so close that we HAD to lay down to see them. LOVED IT!
Jonah thought they were fabulous (at least that's what he would say if he knew how to talk better).
Graham is so helpful when he can take pictures for us. It's been years since we were able to have our picture taken with each other instead of just with the kids.
Oh, and our garage door broke. This picture is of the top of the garage with the door up. That piece of wood that the garage parts are screwed into kind of came loose and our door was sort of swinging as it came up. The nice guy who came and fixed it told us it happens a lot in houses that were built by a certain construction company (need I say more). So watch out!

Great summer recap! I'm glad you're so "loud"! You made it exciting! I'm so proud of you and Kaysie for making it 7 hours without the potty...when I read that I realized that I forgot I was going to stop at a gas station so you guys could go! Sorry! :) Glad you had a good fourth...and way cute pic of you two! Good job Graham!....oh AND we go all out every night and eat on paper plates~not so exciting for us!
Your summer looks like it's pretty awesome! Too bad you can't make the Seattle trip. It would probably rain anyway! We can't wait to see you in September.
Looks like fun! Sorry to hear about the garage door. Ours is still out of commission. I think that we are going to have to call in the pros.
I have had a change of plans for this week. So I will hopefully make it up there next week. Love you guys!
You guys had a fun 4th. Way to party! I love german pancakes, but I'm the only one in my house that does (weirdo's) Maybe I can train Jack early.
