First gas, then wheat, now this...

The saddest thing happened today.  I needed a sugar fix so I stopped by Pioneer Party on the way home to hook myself up with some frootie tootsie rolls.  They are only one cent and that's why I love them.  Today they had a sign on them that said 2 cents.  WHAT!?!  That's like a 100% mark up.  So I asked the nice lady at the counter what in the world was going on.  She said they had been losing money on them for a long time and just kept the price for novelty sake.  That's a good enough reason for me.  I checked out prices online and sure enough one cent a piece was a raging deal.  I was bummed enough though about 2 cents a piece that I walked out of the store empty handed (don't feel too sad for me I grabbed an orange roll at the bakery next door).

Good for you! I probably would have paid the difference. The orange rolls are better for you anyways :)

This is why I love you! I don't think there is anyone out there accept for you that would have even batted an eye to pay the difference. Love ya!

Good call on the orange roll, Kris. Although, I'd probably be a little miffed about the markup on the candy as well. What's this world coming to?

SO KRISTIN! I have to tell you I was in there today and I bout 360 peices of them for just 5.99 and they didn't even make me buy the pre-packaged ones! I told them I wanted a varity and they said If I counted them out I could have them for the pre packageed prices! NOW Granted it is 360 but you still get them for about a penny and a half! So... You can do that but you will have to have a little self control!
Love ya!
